BRIEF
Co-founded and led reWear it, Denmark's pioneering fashion rental mobile app enabling women to rent and lend clothing seamlessly. The concept, conceived in 2019, aimed to create a fashion-sharing platform akin to an Airbnb for clothing.
Navigating the complexities of launching a startup in a new country posed significant hurdles. I oversaw all visual aspects, including brand design, communication materials, and presentations. Additionally, I managed prototype development, business expansion, and devised a comprehensive marketing strategy.
OUR CHALLENGE
Successfully launched a prototype in 2021, acquiring initial customers and securing entry into Accelerace, a leading pre-seed investor and startup accelerator in the Nordics. Our innovation in green technologies earned us a nomination for the SDG Tech Awards. This journey culminated in being granted the Danish Startup Visa, enabling me to reside in Copenhagen for over a year, overseeing project leadership and app development, and spearheading creative direction and social media management.
Despite the challenges inherent in founding a company abroad, the project was immensely successful, providing invaluable experience and validation. Similar business models, like By Rotation in England, have thrived, further demonstrating the concept's viability and scalability.
